Activities
The Chaldean-American Chamber of Commerce provides
various activities and services for the benefit of its members and
to carry out its overall
mission and objectives. These activities include the following:
- Economic
Development: The Chamber strives to promote business within our community
and all levels of government and corporations. The Chamber
creates jobs; provides services and information to members regarding
various opportunities; and promotes retail activities throughout
the community.
- Community Development: The Chamber is planning
for growth; revitalizing the retail area with heavily populated
Chaldean residents, (i.e.
Chaldean Town); sponsoring cultural activities with various
corporations and
officials; and hosts quarterly networking meetings and an annual
dinner.
- Human Resources Development: The Chamber conducts
economic education and training programs; develops minority business
practices
for
our community to receive the benefits of such designation; encourages
job training partnerships in businesses; and is helping improve
health
and human services.
- Public Affairs / Relations: The Chamber communicates
business and civic issues to local, state and national governments;
helps
members
understand
the legislative process and the free enterprise system of marketing;
develops consumer affairs programs; and conducts economic studies
and surveys for Chaldean Businesses and professionals.

discounts offered by chamber members to chamber members.

Chamber in

telecommunications,
energy, etc. through the Chaldean Chamber buying power and influence.
